About

You’ve made it here, and that matters. Life’s challenges can be heavy, but you don’t have to carry them alone. This space honors your unique story and resilience. Our counseling isn't about fixing you; it’s about reconnecting with your inner strength. We’re here to walk with you, offering support and tools for growth. Let’s continue this journey together toward the life you deserve.

Carlton Johnson (He/Him)
MSW, LCSW-A

I am a Durham based psychotherapist with a strong commitment to community, healing and social justice. Are you ready to start a journey of healing and self-discovery? Together, we’ll explore the roots of your challenges, build resilience, and work toward creating a life that feels authentic and fulfilling. Through compassionate guidance and evidence-based tools, I’ll take a person-centered approach to support you on whichever path you choose to explore.

Outside of sessions, you’ll often find me writing, hiking trails, and engaging in activities that nurture mindfulness and creativity, like reading, cooking, and exploring new ways to support well-being.
